IL-IN Master Watershed Stewards Training 2024

IL-IN Master Watershed Stewards:

Trains and supports community leaders to serve and support the protection and conservation of land and water resources.
Helps develop a network of stewards to serve their communities as catalysts for local environmental conservation through education, research and stewardship.
Promotes awareness and appreciation for ecological resources.

About the program:

The program will consist of 8 classes conducted online via Zoom as well as 2 in-person field trips around Cook County.
- Classes will take place weekly on Thursdays from 2-4pm on the following dates:
  - June 6
  - June 13
  - June 20
  - June 27
  - July 11
  - July 18
  - July 25
  - August 1

Cost: $20. If you're in need of a fee waiver, please select the "fee waiver" option in the form.

Qualifications:
- Be able to complete the entire course: 8 2-hour sessions, 2 fieldtrips, and out of class homework.
- Be a Cook County resident.
- Be interested in environmental stewardship and building resilient communities.
