IL-IN Master Watershed Stewards Interest List

We are planning on piloting the IL-IN Master Watershed Steward program in Cook County summer of 2025. Please fill out this form if you're interested in the program! When registration opens for the program, we will reach out to notify you.

IL-IN Master Watershed Stewards:
  • Trains and supports community leaders to serve and support the protection and conservation of land and water resources.
  • Helps develop a network of stewards to serve their communities as catalysts for local environmental conservation through education, research and stewardship.
  • Promotes awareness and appreciation for ecological resources.
About the program:
  • The program will consist of 8 classes conducted online via Zoom as well as 2 in-person field trips around Cook County.
Qualifications: 
  • Be able to complete the entire course: 8 2-hour sessions, 2 fieldtrips, and out of class homework.
  • Be a Cook County resident.
  • Be interested in environmental stewardship and building resilient communities.
