Youth Salsa Canning Workshop | Macoupin County

Let's make salsa! Join Illinois Extension Nutrition and Wellness Educator Lisa Peterson for a youth-centered hands-on workshop on how to make salsa. This class is great for kids new to canning or just looking for a refresher!

This youth workshop will take place on Wednesday, July 9 from 10am-12pm at the Extension office in Carlinville (60 Carlinville Plaza). Pre-registration is required.

Each participant will take home a jar of homemade salsa and receive other fun recipes.

Cost: $5 (fee waivers are available)
Age range: 4th-12th grade
(This workshop is for youth only)
