Join us for a fun and creative hands-on crochet workshop, perfect for beginners ages 8-18! This workshop will guide you through the basics of crochet.
Monday, June 16 10am-11:30am
Ages: 8 - 18 years old. Do not have to be a 4-H member to participate!
Cost: $5 per person (includes materials). Pre-payment is required!
Location: Extension Office- 60 Carlinville Plaza, Carlinville
In this workshop, you'll learn:
- How to hold a crochet hook and yarn.
- Basic stitches.
- How to read simple crochet patterns.
- Tips for making your first crochet project, from starting your foundation chain to finishing your work.
The workshop will provide a foundation for starting a beginner-friendly project. You will be provided information to continue learning and the confidence to crochet on your own!
All materials are included in workshop fee, and no prior experience is necessary.
