Wonderful Wildflowers Walk
Saturday, April 5
9 - 11 a.m. or 1- 3p.m.
Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge
Rocky Bluff Trail

Learn how to identify spring ephemeral wildflowers along the Rocky Bluff Trail at Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. Late March and the month of April are a great time to explore the great outdoors in search of these fleeting beauties. This guided walk will be led by Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator, Kimberly Rohling and Forestry Specialist, Kevin Rohling.

Space is limited to 25 participants per hike.  Please submit individual registrations. This hike is easy to moderate, but there is uneven rocky terrain with some large steps. We will hike about 1 mile of a 2 mile hike.

Please adhere to site day use fees.  You may purchase them online the day of the hike.

If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, please contact Kim Rohling at kimrohli@illinois.edu.

Registration required by Sunday, March 30.  You will be contacted the week of the walk.  This opportunity can be cancelled due to inclement weather.
