Winter Fruit Tree Pruning Workshops

Learn to cut with confidence at one of our fruit tree pruning workshops this winter. After a demonstration and introduction to the principles of pruning, our instructors will guide you through hands on implementation.

You are welcome to join us for one or all of these workshops:
 
Jan 21, 2026, 10 am - 12 noon at Backyard Flower Lab, Winnetka

Jan 21, 2026, 1 - 3 pm at the Talking Farm, Skokie

Feb 7, 2026, 10 am - 12 noon at Farmworks in Chicago (westside) (in partnership with Neighborspace) 

Feb 20, at Passion of Pullman, Chicago (southside) (in partnership with Neighborspace)

date TBD at It Takes a Village Farm, Saulk Village.
 
If you have your own tools and gloves, please bring them and be sure to dress for the winter weather. We will only cancel in the event of SEVERE weather. Please include your phone number so we can contact you in case of a short-notice cancellation. 

These events are open to the public and free to attend. Please understand that due to insurance purposes, no children under the age of 5 may be permitted on-site.
