Wily and Wild Animal Invaders in Illinois
Wily and Wild Animal Invaders in Illinois
Everyday Environment Webinar Series
Thursday, March 19 at 1pm CT
While Illinois has not experienced the profusion of wild animal invasions that are common in warmer climates, many non-native species have found their way into the state. This talk will provide background on the history of these animal invasions and explain the tug of war between the biology of animals (including humans!) and efforts to protect our native natural resources and economic interests.
Presenter: Dr. Joy O’Keefe, Associate Professor and Wildlife Extension Specialist, University of Illinois
