Western Illinois Livestock Judging Contest

Contest will be at the McDonough County Fairgrounds, 3028 W Jackson St, Macomb, IL 61455.
Check in will start at 7:30 a.m. with the contest will start at 9 a.m.
There is a $10 registration fee per contestant or $40 per team.
The same great Livestock Judging Contests with Western Illinois University, different time frame.

JUCO Freshman & 4-H Contest – Saturday, March 23
University of Illinois Extension McDonough County 4-H, the W.I.U. Hoof N Horn will be hosting their annual Livestock Judging contest on Saturday, March 23 at the W.I.U Livestock Center, 2265 Wigwan Hollow Rd, Macomb IL.
Check in will start at 7:30 a.m. with the contest will start at 9 a.m.
There is a $10 registration fee per 4-H contestant or $40 per 4-H team.
JUCO will have a $20 registration per contestant or $80 per JUCO team.
Contestants will judge 10 classes, 6 sets. There will be questions on each species. Awards will be given for the top individuals overall in each division, and top placing Junior and Senior teams. We will be using scantrons again this year.
4-H Junior Division–8th Grade and Younger
4-H Senior Division– High School Freshmen and Older
4-H Youth must be between the ages of 8-18 years old.
4-H Teams will be four members and determined by top 3 scores.
JUCO teams will give reasons.
FFA Contest - Friday, April 5
The FFA Contest will be at the McDonough County Fairgrounds, 3028 W Jackson St, Macomb IL 61455.
Check in will be 7:30-8:30 a.m. Contest will start at 9 a.m.

Contestants will judge classes of Cattle, Swine, Sheep/Goats, Keep Cull (Heifers, Gilts, & Ewes), Slaughter Cattle Grading. There will be 3 sets of questions. Awards will be given. We will be using scantrons again this year.
