WC Little Roots for Cloverbuds

Join us for a fun summer project to excite your kids about gardening! The Little Roots Gardening Calendar will guide you and your Cloverbud-age child in growing 7 different plants, seed to harvest, by engaging in weekly activities like:
- Observing the world around you
- Researching basic horticulture terms
- Caring for your plants
Seeds/ Plants include: sunflower, zinnia, radish, tomato, pepper, pumpkin, basil
Kit pick up & first activity is on May 6th from 4:00-5:00pm at the Winnebago County Extension Office, 1040 North Second St, Rockford. The cost for this program is $8. This program is for any youth ages 5-7. You do not have to be in 4-H to join. Registration closes on March 1st. Extra kits will not be available after the order is placed on March 3rd.
