Protect What Matters: Join the 2025 Illinois-Indiana Master Watershed Steward Program!
Dive into the wonders of nature and make a lasting impact on your community! The Illinois-Indiana Master Watershed Steward Program is an 8-week journey designed to empower you as a guardian of our precious natural ecosystems. Through engaging, science-based education by local experts and group activities, you’ll gain the tools and knowledge to protect and conserve our land and water resources. 🗓 Program Dates: April 1 – May 24, 2025
📍 Location: McLean Extension Office (In-person sessions every Tuesday, 6:00–8:00 PM)
     1615 Commerce Parkway Bloomington, IL 61704
💵 Cost: $84 (includes materials and program support)

IL-IN Master Watershed Stewards:
  • Trains and supports community members to serve and support the protection and conservation of land and water resources.
  • Helps develop a network of stewards to serve their communities as catalysts for local environmental conservation through education, research and stewardship.
  • Promotes awareness and appreciation for ecological resources

Outside of the 2-hour weekly class, deepen your understanding of ecological resources while completing short readings and fun, hands-on activities for just an hour a week. By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to lead local conservation efforts, educate others, and leave a legacy of stewardship.
