Watershed Steward Program

University of Illinois Extension in DeKalb County is offering the Watershed Steward program. As concerns about local water quantity and quality continue to rise, it is important we all understand where our drinking water comes from and the quantity of water we have available. These answers start by educating ourselves about local watersheds and groundwater. This seven-session program is for community members interested in deepening their understanding of their watersheds, how they are related to the quality of our drinking water, if there will be enough to sustain us, and how our actions can help preserve this most precious resource.
Training Location: All but one session will be held here (the October 20 session will be an off-site field trip):

Program Fee: $80 - covers all seven sessions
