Watershed Steward Program

University of Illinois Extension in DeKalb County is offering the Watershed Steward program for members of our communities. This program engages participants as stewards of their local watershed by offering information from scientists, researchers, and watershed management professionals. This five-session education program helps people understand how their water travels from rainfall to potential drinking water and so much more.

Qualifications:
- Be able to complete the entire course: Five, 2.5 hour sessions, and some out of class homework.
- Be a DeKalb County resident or volunteer.
- Be interested in environmental stewardship and building resilient communities.

About the program - the program will consist of five (5) daytime classes, four on Tuesdays (May 26 - June 16) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and one (1) on Saturday, June 13.
Program Fee: $84 - covers all five sessions
