A watershed provides homes, communities, and businesses with fresh drinking water, recreational opportunities, and other vital resources. So, what exactly is a watershed? How does it work and why should we care? Watershed 101 will give you the basics of understanding our local watersheds and the importance of taking care of the water we interact with on a daily basis. Join Nicole Haverback, Illinois Extension Watershed Outreach Associate for this informational presentation.
