Ever wonder what your personality would look like as a painting? Join our All About Me Watercolor Art Workshop and turn your favorite colors, dreams, and doodles into awesome art on three fun paper pieces! This workshop is designed for children and is a wonderful blend of art, self-expression, and creative exploration.
Ages: 5 - 18 years old. Do not have to be a 4-H member to participate!
Cost: $15 per person - You will need to bring exact cash or a check made out to Grace Snively or Grace Elizabeth Studio to the workshop.
Location: Montgomery Extension Office in Hillsboro or Grace Elizabeth Studio in Assumption.
There are 2 class options to choose from:
Montgomery County class will take place on Wednesday, July 2 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Montgomery County Extension Office located at 1 Industrial Park Dr. in Hillsboro.
Christian County class will take place on Monday, July 7, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Grace Elizabeth Studio located at 113 N Chestnut St. in Assumption.
In this fun and educational workshop, kids will:
- Explore Watercolor Techniques: Learn a variety of watercolor methods—from washes and blending to texture and detail work—perfect for young artists of all levels.
- Create 3 Unique Canvases: Each child will design and paint three “All About Me” paper pieces that reflect their personality, interests, and imagination.
- Blend Art with Self-Discovery: This workshop encourages creativity and self-expression while helping kids build confidence and explore who they are through art.
- Take Home Personal Masterpieces: Children will leave with three beautiful, hand-painted canvases—perfect for decorating their space or sharing with family and friends.
All materials are included, and no prior art experience is necessary. Our friendly instructors will guide kids step by step, making it fun and accessible for everyone.
