Join Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator Ryan Pankau and the Vermilion County Master Gardeners for "Stop and Spot: Identify and Manage Invasive Plants," on October 22 at 5 pm at the Kennekuk Education Center for an informative and interactive workshop on invasive plant species. Begin with a brief walk along a paved trail to identify some invasive plants in the field, followed by a presentation on how to effectively identify and manage these troublesome species.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a nature enthusiast, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and tools to protect our local ecosystems from damaging, non-native invasives.

There is no charge to attend; however, we ask that attendees please register so we have adequate handouts and materials.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, contact our office at 217-442-8615.
