Regularly engaging your brain can support cognition and memory. Challenge your noodle with a day of learning, socialization, activities, and movement. Young and older adults are encouraged to attend. A variety of social service agencies will be on-site to provide information.

8:30 - 9:30 a.m. - Check-In
8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - Expo
9:30 -10:30 a.m. – "Building Brain-Healthy Habits" - Positive, everyday actions can make a difference in brain health, even lowering the risk of cognitive decline and possibly Alzheimer's and dementia. Take charge of your brain health today — it's never too early or too late to start.
10:45 -11:45 a.m. – "Let's Eat for Brainpower" - From colorful fruits and veggies to fatty fish, explore the nutrients that are important to power the brain for today and the future.
11:45 a.m. -12:30 p.m. – Lunch
12:30 - 1:30 p.m. – "Two Heads are Better than One" - Maintaining social connections is one of several things you can do to contribute to your own brain health. Come learn about the aging brain and what you can do to keep it engaged with interactive cognitive challenges!
1:45 - 2:45 p.m. –"Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention" - Follow along as you are guided through gentle movements that enhance muscular strength, fitness, and balance while reducing the risk of falls.
2:45 - 3 p.m. - Wrap Up
