US Election Analysis: State and Local Considerations

Thursday, December 5 at 12 PM CT

Dr. Kent Redfield, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Illinois Springfield

University of Illinois Extension’s Local Government Education program invites you to a conversation about Illinois politics, the US Election, and state/local considerations for politics and government. Learn how the nature of Illinois politics has dramatically changed in the last 25 years and, in contrast, what the ‘new reality’ of Illinois politics means for rural and downstate regions of Illinois. Additionally, the conversation will explore how national politics under the new President and a new congress could impact the current state of Illinois politics and government.
