Tree Walk | Kitchell Park - Pana

Join the Christian County Master Gardeners to learn how to identify tree species by their leaves, bark, and shape, and explore the trees planted around Kitchell Park. Learn about key ID characteristics as well as how to use a dichotomous key to identify trees. The walk features Kitchell Park’s ash trees and showcases local efforts to restore the tree population after emerald ash borer damage.

Saturday, Oct. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Kitchell Park located at 411 E 9th St. in Pana.

Suitable for all ages and skill levels.
Please wear appropriate attire for walking.
