Tree ID Walk | H & B Bremer Wildlife Sanctuary

Join us at H & B Bremer Sanctuary, just north of Hillsboro, for a guided Tree Walk with Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator, Andrew Holsinger.
You'll learn to identify tree species by their leaves, bark, and shape, and explore native tree species. Learn about key ID characteristics as well as how to use a dichotomous key to identify trees.
Friday, Sept. 26 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Bremer Sanctuary located at 194 Bremer Lane in Butler (near Hillsboro).
Light hiking on uneven terrain. Suitable for all ages and skill levels.
Please wear appropriate attire for light hiking. Water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellent recommended.
