Trees are a vital element in climate change mitigation. Join Extension Educator Ryan Pankau during this guided walk. Learn to identify different species of trees, how they perform in both a forest setting and the urban environment, and which trees will fare well in the face of climate change.
Meet at Crystal Lake Park's (206 W. Park Urbana, IL 61801) Boathouse Dock Area. This event was planned in conjunction with the Champaign County Climate Coalition and Urbana Park District as part of Climate Action Week.
