Straw Bale Gardening

Are you a beginner gardener and feel overwhelmed? Or an experienced gardener looking for a new challenge?
Straw bale gardening is for you! This type of gardening is essentially growing your garden produce in a working compost pile. During the workshop, you will learn the science behind what makes a straw bale the ideal growing media for vegetables. Everyone can learn steps for conditioning the bales, planting, maintaining, and harvesting fresh vegetables throughout the growing season to save money by creating a backyard garden. Attend this fun interactive workshop to learn more.
