🌠 Explore the Night Sky at Our 4th Annual Stargazing Party!
Hosted by the Illinois Grand Prairie Master Naturalists in collaboration with Humiston Woods.

Enjoy an evening under the stars on Saturday, November 21, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Humiston Woods. Local astronomer Paul Pouliot will be our “Guide to the Sky,” helping us explore the wonders above. This year, we will learn about the ancient constellation of Taurus the bull and the fascinating objects found within its boundaries including the Pleiades and the Crab Nebula. Whether you're a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the night sky, this is a perfect opportunity to look up, learn, and be amazed.

✨ Bring a blanket or lawn chair, a warm drink, bug spray, and a flashlight.

🌌 This event is open to all! We ask that children attending be 5 and up.

We will be meeting at the main parking lot and walking up a paved path toward the viewing area. Attendees with mobility concerns can be dropped off at the main viewing area. - Google Maps Location
