Stargazers Club - Fayette County 4-H

The registration period has ended.
Join us for a 4-H Special Interest Club where club members will take a deep-dive into the wonderful hobby of stargazing! Led by Master Naturalist and amateur astronomer, Randy Harrison, club members will learn how to locate constellations, operate telescopes, use astronomy tools, and create their own night sky observing programs over the course of six meetings. Most meetings will be held outside getting first-hand experience, but we have an indoor alternative in case the weather is not optimal for stargazing.

The club has a one-time fee of $10 to be paid at the first meeting, and youth will get a set of astronomy tools to keep. The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th at 7:30 pm, so feel free to come check it out! (If you would like to check out the first meeting before committing to joining, then give Olivia a call!)

Open to youth ages 8-18 years old. Enrollment in this Special Interest 4-H Club will grant participants equal access into 4-H local and state events.
