Speak Up! Empowering Youth to Own the Stage | Christian County

Youth will learn to express themselves confidently, connect with their audience, and deliver powerful speeches. Participants will explore essential skills like effective body language, vocal control, and using storytelling to engage listeners. They'll also gain tools to overcome nervousness and structure their speeches clearly. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have the confidence and techniques needed to speak up, stand out, and inspire others with their words.

Monday, Feb. 10, 5:30 - 7 PM at the Christian County Extension Office at 1120 N. Webster St. in Taylorville.

Open to youth ages 12-18 years.

Cost: Free
