Sourdough Fermentation: Make & Take Starter Workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop and discover the fascinating world of fermentation.  Learn the secrets behind creating delicious, tangy sourdough bread from scratch.  We’ll explore the history and science behind fermentation, including the role of wild yeasts and bacteria in creating the unique flavors of sourdough.  Learn how to create and maintain your sourdough starter, then go home with a starter of your own.  Take home recipes that use the discard from the sourdough starter – make more than just bread!  Both beginners and experienced bakers are welcome!  Bring a jar for your starter.
