Unlock the secrets of safe and delicious home canning in this hands-on workshop! Learn the fundamentals of water bath canning, discover which recipe tweaks are safe (and which aren't), and take home research-backed canning recipes. You'll get practical experience making a no-sugar-needed blueberry jam and a low-sodium dill pickle recipe. Perfect for preserving your garden's bounty year-round. Each person will go home with a jar of no-sugar-needed blueberry jam or low-sodium dill pickles. 

When: Tuesday, July 22 from 6-7:30 p.m.

Where: The class will occur at the Montgomery County Extension Office in Hillsboro, located at 1 Industrial Park Drive.

Cost: There is a $10 fee to cover the cost of supplies. Pre-payment is required - you can pay exact cash or check before the class or pay online by credit card.

Participants under 16 are required to have an adult present.
