Sewing Workshop for Youth-Adult Pairs

Would you like to learn to sew? This workshop will teach youth along with an adult mentor the basics of sewing while creating a festive holiday stocking to take home. Join us for a hands-on class where teams of two (youth with an adult) will learn sewing skills and techniques they can take away and practice together. Participants will learn the mechanics of a sewing machine and how to use it, how to cut a pattern and fabric, and use of a machine to sew a project. This class is open to any youth aged 8-18 years along with an adult who would like to attend and learn to sew with them. Sewing machine and supplies will be provided for registrants.
This class will provide what is needed for 4-H exhibition of the level 1 Clothing 4-H project at the county 4-H Show.
