Simplify seed starting by joining Illinois Extension Master Gardener Liz Reische for an exploration of how to start your seeds using budget-friendly, recycled materials found around your home. We'll dive into all the essentials, including seed selection, growing media, containers, light sources, and water.  Whether you plan to start your seeds indoors or outdoors, you’ll leave this session with the knowledge and confidence to get growing!

Join Seed Starting for Success: Pocket-Friendly and Eco-Smart Methods on February 21st, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Rockford Public Library Main Branch (215 N Wyman St, Rockford, IL 61101) in the WREX room (second floor). 

There is no charge for this program; however, pre-registration is requested.
