Rain gardening

Learn how to build and care for rain gardens!
When: Wednesday, September 23 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. 
Where: THE GATHERING at 335 5th Avenue, Moline 

The Rainscaping Education Program provides practical, research-based methods to manage rainwater at home or in small public spaces.

What is rainscaping?
  • Rainscaping uses landscape practices to manage rainwater where falls- slowing it down and helping it soak into the ground. This reduces runoff, filters pollutants, and protects local lakes, rivers, and streams.    
Why participate?
  • Make a difference! Get the tools to take action- improving your property and protecting water, one site at a time. 

9-11:30 a.m. first session
