Join us as we learn about some of the more than 700 plants you may encounter at Nachusa Grasslands. Historical and contemporary uses of these plants will be discussed. We will also explore Nachusa's history and some of its other more well-known residents. Presented by Cindy Crosby. Cindy is the author, compiler or contributor to more than 20 books. Cindy earned her master’s degree in natural resources from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is a former steward for more than a decade for the Schulenberg Prairie at The Morton Arboretum. Currently, she is a volunteer dragonfly steward and leads two teams; one at the Arboretum and one at Nachusa.
