Patrick & Mercedes Heles Home Garden Tour

Patrick & Mercedes Heles Home Garden Tour: May 30, 3-4:30 PM

What started a few years ago as a humble experiment has grown into something we truly love, a living, breathing space that feels like it jumped straight out of the pages of a storybook. Think Alice in Wonderland meets The Secret Garden: lush, colorful, a little wild, and full of wonder!

Our approach is intentional but unhurried. We focus on low-impact gardening, leaning on native and locally-suited plants that thrive on their own without demanding constant attention or heavy watering. The goal is a garden that works with nature, one that buzzes and blooms with pollinators and requires more admiring than maintaining.

We were also lucky enough to inherit an incredible foundation from the previous owners of our home, who were horticulturists. Their legacy lives on in the rare and beautiful plants they left behind, and we're committed to honoring their work by tending to those plants with as much care as we can.

Every season brings something new to learn, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
