Oral Interpretation Camp
The 4-H oral interpretation project combines the arts of public speaking, performance, and literary appreciation, allowing youth to develop key communication skills and actively engage the world around them. During this four-day mini-camp, you can learn ways to build confidence when speaking and improve your 4-H oral interpretation project or school speeches in the future!

What is the 4-H Oral Interpretation Project? Presentations in Oral Interpretation must be published works, and manuscripts or transcripts must be submitted prior to the event. They may be presented as an individual or a two-person team entry. The types of entries could include, prose and short stories, poetry, theatrical interpretation, published speech recitation. Youth do not need to be 4-H members or enrolled in the oral interpretation project to participate in this camp.
Ages: 10-15
Dates: Monday-Thursday, August 4-7 from 1:30pm-3:00pm each day
