2026 Shooting Sports Registration Information
ARCHERY: Limit of 10 participants per session who are 4-H Age 8-18. (Age on September 1, 2025)
Beginner: Has no archery experience or very minimal (1-2 years) and would like to do the more basic class.

Advanced: Has archery experience (1-2 years or more) and will not need much guidance. Can shoot from longer distances.
Beginner Level Class 1:
- Sundays - May 3 at 4 pm for expectations meeting, May 10, 17, 24, 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28 to shoot
- Time: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Ogle County Fairgrounds, Exhibit Building
Beginner Level Class 2:
- Sundays - May 3 at 4 pm for expectations meeting, May 10, 17, 24, 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28 to shoot
- Time: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
- Location: Ogle County Fairgrounds, Exhibit Building
Cost: $20.00
Required Equipment to Bring: Eye Protection is required for all members. Appropriate footwear and clothing is required for all members/participants and volunteers. No sandals or loose clothing will be allowed. Adults who transport participants to events are requested to stay at the event.
All Archery participants are required to be present May 3 at 4 pm for a collective expectations meeting.

AIR RIFLE: Limit of 10 participants per session who are 4-H Age 8-18. (Age on September 1, 2025)
Spring Session:
- June 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11
- Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
- Location: Ogle County Fairgrounds, Exhibit Building
Cost: $20.00
Required Equipment to Bring: Eye Protection is required for all members. Appropriate footwear and clothing is required for all members/participants and volunteers. No sandals or loose clothing will be allowed. Adults who transport participants to events are requested to stay at the event.

SHOTGUN: Limit of 10 participants per session who are 4-H Age 10-18. (Age on September 1, 2025)
If this session does not reach a minimum number of participants, it will be cancelled.
