Oak Tree Savanna Planting - Community Service | Montgomery County

The Oak Tree Savanna Planting Workshop & Community Service Project is a hands-on event focused on planting 25 oak trees at 522 E Tremont St., Hillsboro, IL 62049. This project is a grant-funded collaboration with Montgomery County 4-H, the City of Hillsboro, and the Montgomery County Soil & Water Conservation District. We are inviting kids and volunteers to join us in planting trees while learning about the importance of Oak Tree Savanna habitats and their role in local ecosystems. It's a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and gain valuable knowledge about conservation efforts!
