Please meet at Star Farm, 5156 S. Carpenter, Chicago for the first part of the program,
and then we will walk together to 944 W 50th Place, Chicago for the second part of the program.
Extension educators Zack Grant and Kathryn Pereira, Star Farmer Guadalupe Garcia and founder Stephanie Dunn will explain the conservation practices implemented on their diversified vegetable farm; and speak of their contract experience with the NRCS program.
Joseph Bridges and Alicia Lozano, and Jacey Fears, reps from the USDA Chicago Urban Ag office will be on site to meet farmers and answer your questions about applying for these reimbursement programs.
