Northern Illinois Livestock Showmanship Clinic 2026

Join us for the Northern Illinois Livestock Showmanship Clinic on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 1:00–3:30 PM! This hands-on clinic is designed to help 4-H members build confidence and skills in the show ring while learning directly from experienced breeders and industry experts.
Participants will choose one species track—dairy cattle, goats (dairy & meat), or poultry—and remain with that species for the duration of the clinic. Each track will provide in-depth, hands-on learning focused on that specific animal.
You will gain valuable knowledge from birth to fair week, including grooming, nutrition, daily care, fitting, and overall showmanship techniques. Whether you're new to livestock or looking to sharpen your skills, this clinic offers a focused experience to help you succeed.

📍 Location: Boone County Fairgrounds 8791 IL-76, Belvidere, IL 61008
