Native Plants

Learn more about native plants. Participants will take home a "kit" of native plants and will learn more about their specific native plants in the kit, what they need, how/where to plant them, and how to care for them. Participants will:
  • Go over the role of native plants in a landscape
  • Cover the benefits of native plants to gardeners and to pollinators
  • Familiarize attendees with a variety of native species that work well in home landscapes
  • Discuss how and where to find native plants
