Native Garden Planning | Christian County

Are you looking to start a native garden? In this session, University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator Andrew Holsinger hopes you will become less fearful of gardening with natives. Bring ideas for your native garden, and learn about different site preparation and planting options. A maintenance plan is essential for keeping your native garden looking great all year long. This workshop is perfect for attending if you purchased plants from the Christian County Master Gardeners Plant Sale and are still not sure where to plant them!

Thursday, May 16 from noon to 1 p.m. at Christian County Extension located at 1120 N. Webster St. in Taylorville or online.

Can't join us in person? That's okay you can join us online.

This program is free. Register by May 15.
