Mt. Vernon Rainscaping

Ready to learn how to build beautiful rain gardens that help manage stormwater? 
 
Join us for the Rainscaping Education Program at the Jefferson County Extension Office on September 14 and 21 from 5:30-8:30 pm, and September 25 from 9 am - Noon. This hands-on training will introduce you to the reasons why rain gardens are helpful and guide you through designing, installing, and maintaining them. 
 
Whether you're a homeowner, landscape professional, municipal staff member, or simply interested in creating healthier landscapes, this program will give you practical skills you can put to use right away. 
 
Location - Jefferson County Extension Office, 4202 Williamson Place, Suite 2, Mt. Vernon, IL 
Training Dates - 5:30 - 8:30 pm on September 14 and 21
Planting Date - 9am - Noon on September 25
