Mother's Day Planters

Join the Jo Daviess County Master Gardeners on Saturday, May 9 at Aunt Beez Greenhouse, 3027 W. Veta Grande Road, Scales Mound, IL, to create a planter that you can either keep for yourself or gift to that special mother figure in your life! All ages are welcome! Master Gardeners will be available between 9:30 a.m. and noon to assist participants. When registering you will pick a timeslot to come between so that we can hopefully give you the best experience possible by not having too many people come at once. There will be a $25 fee and all supplies needed will be provided. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Participants will create a 10 inch pot that they can either take home or gift to someone. Master Gardeners will be available to help guide you and give you some tips and tricks on how to create an eye appealing container with summer annuals that with proper care will look great all summer long. All ages are welcome! Parents sign your youth up to create a container while you stroll the beautiful greenhouses at Aunt Beez or make your own container right alongside of them!
