Moth-A-Palooza Guided Night Hike

8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Come out on to Rend Lake Project Visitor Center to learn more about moths during National Moth Week with Illinois Extension Forest Management and Ecology Specialist, Kevin Rohling and Horticulture Educator, Kimberly Rohling.  Attendees should bring a camera, headlamp or flashlight, since the hike will be at niight.  If you would like to assist with citizen science efforts, please download the iNaturalist app before you attend the event.  

Please meet at the Rend Lake Project Visitor Center: 11981 Rend City Rd, Benton, IL 62812 at 8:30pm. The event may be canceled or postponed depending on weather conditions. You will receive email notification the morning of the program.  Online registration will close Sunday, July 13, 2025.
