Mock Cat Show | Will County

Join Vanessa, a Will County 4-H Member, as we learn how to show cats!

Do you have a cat at home?  Join us as we learn how to show a cat at a cat show!  Showing an animal at a competition teaches responsibility, ethical care of animals, and helps you show your passion for your pets with others.

During this Mock Cat Show workshop, youth will learn how to prepare for and show at their first cat show.

Bring your cat and a secure enclosure. This could be a dog crate or rabbit cage that is large enough to hold your cat and a small litter box. Also bring your cat's favorite toy or treat. We do require that your cat be current with their FVRCP and Rabies vaccination and have their nails trimmed. Workshop will last approximately one hour. All ages welcome!

This workshop is created and run by Vanessa, a 4-H member from Will County, with extensive experience in showing cats.  We hope you can join us!
