MG: Children's Intro To Bats

Is your child interested in learning about our furry, winged friends? The Champaign County Master Gardeners are hosting "Children's Intro to Bats" on Saturday, July 8 at both 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Each of the sessions are capped at a max of 25 participants and costs $2.50, please make sure you register for the correct session. This program is intended for children ages 5-10.
The program will be hosted at the Idea Garden at 1846 S Lincoln Ave, Urbana, IL 61801.
In this program you will learn:
- Description and basic anatomy of bats
- Natural and Man made dwellings for bats
- Identify types of bats found in central Illinois
- Why bats are our friends and are good for the environment
- Favorite foods of bats
