Come on a walking tour of three gardens at Touch of Nature with Touch of Nature Board Member Lyle White and Master Gardener Joe Powers to learn why they made the switch to improving the site's landscaping with native plants. Each garden has origins linked to unique goals including education demonstration, erosion control and reduction of mowing, historical ethnobotany, and preserving rare flora of southern Illinois.

Erica Lunde, Horticulture Program Coordinator, will be available at the program to assist with answering questions along the way. The rain date for this program will be Tuesday, May 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The last day to register online for this program is Sunday, May 17.
