Master Gardener Training

The registration period has ended.
If you enjoy gardening, like to learn, and meet like minded individuals, the Master Gardener program may be for you. All you need is an interest in gardening, an open mind, and a willingness to share your knowledge with others.

Participation in all 11 weeks of classes from February 3 - April 14 is required as the first step to becoming a certified Master Gardener.

Class begins on Tuesday, February 3, in a hybrid format. Participants will work through online course material and join live Zoom sessions with educators on Tuesday mornings or review recordings at a time that works best for them.

Additionally, two, required, hands on sessions are scheduled on Friday, March 13, and April 17 from 1:30-4:30pm at the Whiteside County Extension Office, 12923 Lawrence Rd, Sterling, IL.
