Make and Take Strawberry Jam Class

Capture the sweet taste of summer one jar at a time! Join Susan Glassman, University of Illinois Extension Food and Nutrition Educator, for a workshop making both freezer and canned strawberry jam. This class is open to adults, beginners and experienced food preservers. Participants will learn safe water bath canning and food preservation practices while preparing strawberry jam. Each participant will take home the jam they make and receive recipes and canning tip sheets.

Cost is $10.00 per person.
