Macon County Dog Club

The registration period has ended.
Join us as we kick off our first meeting of the Macon County Dog Club at the Macon County Extension Office!

A 4-H dog club is an amazing opportunity for our community. The club is going to focus on obedience training with Kim Schwalbach. She is our new 4-H leader for this club and is very dedicated to helping our community and making sure our youth are informed on all things, DOG!

For our first meeting, we are going to focus on safety and other housekeeping items.
We ask that attendees do not bring their dogs for this first meeting. We do ask that you bring your pet shot records and collar size.

We will go over 4-H club management, and observe as Lady Mary models the appropriate behaviors of a well-mannered dog. We will also assist with the enrollment in ZSuite which is required to be a club member as well as deciding together on a 4-H Club name.

DeWitt, Macon, and Piatt County 4-H Youth aged 8 to 18 are welcome.

To participate in the Macon County Dog Club, there will be a $20 membership enrollment fee, fee waivers are available.

For questions, fee waiver requests, or for reasonable accommodations please contact Anne Reinbold
