Lodge Con ESports Competition at the Will County Fairgrounds 2025

Come join 4-H at LodgeCon for our 2025 ESports Tournament! This year we will be playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the Switch. The events will be held at Will County Fairgrounds Atrium, 710 S. West St., Peotone, Illinois. Juniors (8-13) will be competing on Saturday, Novemeber 1st and High School (14-18) will be competing Sunday November 2nd. Check-in for both events will start at 9 A.M. and the event will start at 10 A.M.


Game rules/specifics below:
Event: Smash 1v1 Singles 
Game: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 
Entrants: 64 (subject to change, minimum of 5) 
Platforms: Switch Event Format: 1v1 
Best of 3, set with 3 stock, 8 minutes 

The event will be single or double elimination based on participant numbers, random seeding.  Be courteous to Event Staff, Competitors, Volunteers, and other Attendees Show up on time in the competition area for your matches. You may bring your own controllers and connection cables/hubs, but basic peripherals and controllers may be provided. Please label your personal controllers to prevent confusion. Brackets will be released at the events. 

There will be no walk-in registrations allowed this year, so please make sure to register ahead of time. 

It is free to participate in the 4-H event; however, you will need to purchase a $5.00 Lodge Con Badge the day of the event. If you're bringing a school team, please reach out to Maezie Nettleton, mnett@illinois.edu.
