Broadband Outreach and Engagement for Counties and Communities in Illinois
Illini Science Policy Extension Fellows Webinar
Friday, May 26 at 12PM CT
For the past 3 years, Illinois Extension’s Illini Policy Fellows have been assigned to work with the Illinois Office of Broadband to enhance outreach efforts for broadband development across our counties. Continued collaboration with the Illinois Innovation Network, Broadband Regional Engagement for Adoption and Digital Equity (READY), and various local and regional institutions and organizations have enabled these scholars to develop perspectives on how counties or communities may consider local broadband outreach and engagement efforts.
Your county's outreach professionals (including Extension staff) are invited to a presentation covering their experiences in working in the field of broadband development, available resources in Illinois, and considerations for local outreach. Participants can interact with speakers following the presentation.
*This is not an official Illinois Office of Broadband Update. Presenters will not answer to questions pertaining to state programs.
