Livestock Judging Contest 2026
Join us on October 16 for the 2nd Annual Livestock Judging Contest! Youth ages 8-18, including 4-H and FFA members, are invited to showcase their judging abilities with cattle, swine, sheep, and goats.
October 16 | 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Martinsville Fairgrounds (620 South York Street, Martinsville, IL)
$20 per school or coach (Cash or check made out to University of Illinois Extension)
Open to youth ages 8-18 (Must be 8 years of age by September 1, 2026)
Junior Division (8 years or older but not in high school)
Senior Division (High school)
Max of 4 per team, top 3 scores count
Stenopads are allowed
Coaches: please complete the contact information with your school information.
We are using Scantrons this year, so please bring clipboards and pencils.
Lunch will not be available at the event, so please plan accordingly.
